Plant Lists + Pictures build plant lists and photo albums to document and record plants in gardens or capture your experiences hiking in nature. Plant information and links to internet resources help identify plants. Photos are labeled and organized by plant names bringing order and the ability to find quickly find plant photos often lost in large phone photo galleries. Exporting and importing photos keeps photos accessible to other phone apps and allows high-definition photos to be incorporated into plant lists. As plant lists with photo albums can be exported, Plant Lists + Pictures creates flower finders for exploring and sharing.

When using Plant Lists + Pictures to take pictures, your pictures are automatically labeled by plant name. You can take photos and later assign plant names and add them to a plant list. Photos from all plant lists are aggregated into a single gallery allowing you to find and display all photos for a particular plant.

When hiking, you can check off plants you have seen on a plant list. GPS locations are also captured. Automatic links to your phone mapping app help you find and return to a plant or photo location.

When researching plants, data import capabilities from internet-based databases can create detailed plant lists on your mobile device or tablet for your next visit.

Plant Lists + Pictures brings a greater understanding of the plant world and is an excellent educational and lifestyle tool. Plant Lists + Pictures installs with the ability to create 10 new plant lists with unlimited pictures with no cost. More details:

Plant Dictionary: The plant dictionary holds description and other detail information about plants. Plant lists and markers both refer to the plant dictionary. Because plant dictionary information is held in a central location, changes to the plant information, like adding a common name, are seen wherever the plant is used throughout the app.

When plant lists are shared, plant dictionary entries accompany the plant list. Sharing plant lists is a fast way to build up your plant dictionary. When plant names are referenced, links to Google Images and Wikipedia are displayed.

Location Markers: Markers contain GPS location and observation information. A marker can also be a land feature such as a trail head, parking lot or navigational waypoint. Markers have data fields to store plant population data. For example: 5 plants in a 10 ft circle, or hundreds in a field north of the road. GPS information can be sent to Google or Apple maps for on-the-fly mapping.
Markers have a "Public" and a "Private" attribute. Setting this attribute to "Private" causes the location marker to be excluded from sharing and printing.

Plant lists: Plant lists bring plant information, location markers and pictures together. When displaying the list of plants, tapping marker icon at the top right of the screen switches to the list of markers. Tapping the flower icon returns to the list of plants. Taking a picture from within a plant list screen automatically labels and catalogs the picture in that plant list.
